World Book Day ,Traditional tales and Our Class Assembly

We all had great fun dressing up as book characters for World Book Day.  As you can see we had dinosaurs, a Gruffalo,  a knight, Paw Patrol characters and many more!  Well done everyone!

Year 6 came and read some of our favourite story books to us.

In RE we looked at some pictures of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and talked about who we went to church with and what happened when we went to church.  We made a little church in our classroom and acted out going to church.  We took our places in the “pews” and sang a song together

This week we have enjoyed the story of The Three Little Pigs.

We played a game of "What's the time Mr Wolf?"

A big thank you to all the parents and family members who came to watch our "Mothering Sunday" themed assembly this morning. We were incredibly proud of  all the children and how well they spoke and sang. Super work everyone!

Here is the ppt ....

Here are some of the other things we have been doing.

Have a lovely weekend,

Amanda Corcoran
