In phonics we took part in some activities to learn the sound d. We played a game outside hunting for objects and then matched them with their initial sound.
In busy fingers we made some shapes with elastic bands on the geoboards, models from mobilo and used tweezers and spoons to pick up pasta.
On Thursday we celebrated the Queen's birthday by making some colourful bunting.Next week our theme is towers. We will be building lots of different towers and drawing a tower. Please remember to bring in a small cardboard box on Monday. Our sound of the week is g . In maths we will be using our number knowledge to solve some number problems.
During the week Mrs Hounslow is going to be planting some seeds in the early years' garden. If any children have some seeds or flowers they would like to plant, they are very welcome to bring them in.
